Peter Robinson Settlers from Cork to
Canada 1823 & 1825

A return of Irish Emigrants proceeding to Canada, to be
settled at the Expense of His Majesty's Government, under the superintendence
of Mr. Peter Robinson, Embarked at Cove on board of the AMITY
Transport, William Arrowsmith Master, for passage to Quebec - Mr. James
McTeinan, R.N. Surgeon in charge. Cove of Cork 13th May 1825 (transcribed
from microfilm copy; may contain errors; there may be omissions)
bark Amity departed Cork 17th May 1825 and
arrived at Quebec on June
21st 1825. The emigrants proceeded from Quebec
to Montreal aboard the steam boat New
Swifture, on June 24th.
